Proto Tooling

Proto Tooling:

Mould proto tooling involves the rapid creation of temporary or low-volume molds, primarily used for testing product designs and validating manufacturing processes before committing to expensive, high-production tooling. These “prototype molds” are often made from softer materials like aluminum or even 3D-printed resins. Their purpose is to produce a small batch of functional parts quickly, allowing for design iterations, material testing, and market validation without the significant investment or lead time of full production moulds.
